Message to Designers: Fonts/Logos I cannot stand

Fonts: I'm so sick and tired of seeing Papyrus, Comic Sans, Dakota Handwriting, Bleeding Cowboys, and any variation of Copperplate. Papyrus and Comic Sans have been dead for awhile now, but those other 3, I have been noticing more and more of these days. Also, this new movement of stacking text with modern fonts (I.E. Gotham, Franklin Gothic) is starting to get overused. So to all you designers out there, stop it. Be original, there are thousands and thousands of fonts out there, go out and use THOSE or buy some or make your own, but for god's sake, keep your hands of Bleeding Cowboys. I see this damn font on every new CD or T-Shirt. You're not "punk" or "hardcore" because you downloaded a overly used distressed font off of dafont.com.

Logos:
What is up with that damn Walmart logo? I know they're following trends and trying to compete with Target (which WILL continue to outgrow and outperform no matter what logo Walmart uses), but will they please drop it? You're not cool for putting a little yellow burst next to some generic font choice. I actually liked the days of the big bold red high school football-esque logo with the star in the middle. It made Walmart feel more of a surplus/bargain store.

Pepsi, wow. Like 30+ logo changes in the last decade? Stick to something. I know coke has had some variations, but not as much as pepsi. Coke has pretty much used the same scripted logo for the past 100+ years, but Pepsi can't seem to stay on its feet. At least keep the same red white and blue circle thing consistent.

Saturn's abstract yet not abstract illustration of the planet, is interesting, yet in the midst of all these other abstracted line logos, this one has lost its touch. Time to revamp, make something a little more modern and hip, it feels very stuck in the '90s.
